Torborg Davern has over 10 years experience as a book designer and art director. After graduating from Pratt Institute with a B.F.A. in Communication Design, she spent two years at AFG, an advertising agency, designing campaigns and creating sales pitches for clients such as Van Cleef and Apparel, Tumi and Wolverine. In 2008 she joined the design team at HarperCollins Children’s Books. Torborg moved south in 2010 to the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina, where she works as a full-time freelance designer with clients such as HarperCollinsPublishers, Random House, Disney/Hyperion, Little Brown and Company, among others.
