Teresa Akersten has more than 20 years of experience in print and online journalism, content creation and public relations. She has held various positions with AOL Patch, North Jersey Media Group and Audible.com.
Ann is a graduate of The Cooper Union School of Art, where she studied painting, print-making, photography, and graphic design. An award-winning creative leader for over 20 years, she has been grateful to serve as art director to some of New York’s most esteemed cultural and educational institutions–The New York Public Library, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and New York University. She has also taught foundation typography at Parsons The New School for Design.
Bonnie has interviewed hundreds of individuals across the United States including senators, congressmen, CEOs, authors and artists. She started her career as a reporter for Newsweek Magazine and for 20 years was a correspondent for People Magazine. She has a master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in Education from De Paul University. Bonnie has taught writing and copy editing at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Diane M. Byrne
Diane is a professional journalist and the owner of RedHedInk, a marketing and communications company producing high-quality media for high-net-worth consumers. She’s the founder and editor of the award-winning MegayachtNews.com. Diane has partnered with Beth Smith on a new venture, Superyacht Storytellers, a niche publishing company.
Emily has over 20 years experience as a graphic designer and art director. A graduate of School of Visual Arts with a B.F.A. in Advertising, she honed her craft while working for recognizable brands such as Random House, Penguin Publishing, PETCO and Jackson Hewitt. Known to friends and family as the “creative one,” Emily is a lover of design, appropriate punctuation and actually enjoys helping with the art projects that her children are required to do in school.
Jen Lange is a designer and illustrator for various websites and authors. She is the former Art Director of ACTV, Inc., a pioneering Internet company. More recently, Jen was chosen as a featured artist to decorate the White House during the holidays. Her art is also part of the Smithsonian permanent collection. When she is not in front of her computer this you can find her in the classroom teaching graphic design as well as STEM enrichment classes.
Taro Meyer has an extensive and varied background in the entertainment industry. A Grammy winning Audio Producer/Director, she developed numerous abridgements for publishing company Random House, working directly with writers such as Lauren Bacall and Dr. Oliver Sacks. She has edited non-fiction for Phoenix Books and her own “tween” novel, “Emma G. Loves Boyz,” received an Editor’s Choice pick from industry magazine, Kirkus Reviews. Meyer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, with a minor in education.
